Last night at around 3:00am PST, the first theatrical trailer for J.J. Abrams’ Super 8 finally arrived online. The incredible amount of patience waiting for it truly paid off, as the footage was a beautiful mix of Spielbergian sci-fi with a perfect dose of nostalgia. Now, a little over 12 hours later, we have the film’s new one-sheet.
Posted over at Apple, the poster plays with perception as the horizon is rotated 90 degrees clockwise. Turning it on its side, you can see the group filming with their camera on a tripod, though there isn’t much alien action going on. Check out the poster below or see it full size on Apple.
